About

I am a dedicated student with virtual work experience with version 1 who learn a lot from an IT company learning about their values and their goals. Also, this work experience placement helped me with data analysis as I was using platforms like excel this has given me a soft insight in IT as it boosted my communicating skills helped me work with people that I have not met which has helped me gain team working skills. As we had groups of teams, we had to form a presentation at our best of ability to show the work we had done which also helped me gain some leadership skills.

I also learnt what it is like to work in an IT related field as the current employees spoke to me about their roles. I aim to use these skills and dedicate this to follow my passion for IT and hopefully learn more skills from an apprenticeship related to IT, this will help me progress and follow my passion.

I learnt to design basic IT solutions which I had to analyse the client requirements
I already had knowledge of technical skills which I had to use in these experiences for example using excel for the data analysis
I used professional skills such as team working, communication and problem solving to produce a presentation
I listened to the employees who spoke about their roles and learnt about how to succeed in IT

Volunteer Fundraiser - Worcester Muslim Welfare Association

Working as part as a team to raise money for the new building of a new mosque for the community. I do this every Friday for 2 hours selling homemade food to help raise money. This has built my confidence as I need to serve customers which has helped me ensure a general level of customer service.
