Performance Test Engineer - Tribal SITS eVision at University of Hertfordshire (2023-01 – 2024-07)
We were planning to run a performance test on the Clearing process, Online Registration, Module registration and Results on their TRIBAL SITS application hosted in the cloud environment to understand the upper limits of the infrastructure and the application under load. The journeys would be simulated by logging in as a student to eVision portal using username and password. All the user journeys are scripted using JMeter to simulate the load.
- Attended calls and meetings to gather performance requirements.
- Identified the key business process to be used for Performance Testing.
- Developed KBT's for the identified key business processes.
- Developed test scripts using VuGen web (HTTP/HTML) protocol adhering to best practices for scripting.
- Created test scenarios for multiple load tests using different scenario scheduling techniques in Performance center.
- Conducted Shakeout tests and health checks to verify the test scripts.
- Conducted multiple rounds of various performance tests as per test plan and monitored the tests in Load Runner Cloud.
- Prepared test result reports along with detailed analysis of the results and published them to the team.
- Prepared test completion report and published it to stakeholders.
