Workshop director of a team of 3 technicians. Ensuring customer expectations are always met, as well as ensuring health and safety is always adhered to.

• Undertaking a daily TUF performance meeting with the workshop technicians to ensure all KPI are clear, and to set out any strategies early to improve the overall results.
• Organising and delegating tasks within the workshop to ensure first time fix and maximise profitability within the business.
• Ensure all parts are allocated correctly on jobs.
• Daily review with technician on performance to maximise workshop efficiency.
• Vehicle Preparation control against vehicle DIS to ensure preparation standards are met and to aim to turn over as soon as possible.
• Controlling retail workload ensuring work is done within the time frame agreed and updating the service advisers regularly, taking into consideration VHC upsell / Parts arrived in stock, to fit the workload within the day.
• Timing up VHC for adviser to upsell and timing up all other jobs for admin to invoice the jobs.
• Quality control checks undertaken on vehicle to avoid any repeat repairs.

Working for Car Clinic. Finding and diagnosing faults, using up to date diagnostic equipment. Accredited in diagnostic repairs. Maintaining efficiency as well as quality of work, working within other job roles within the business such as recovery and vehicle management.

Carrying out fast fit repair on all makes and models, also undertaking engine mechanical and guided fault finding with master technicians, meeting strict deadlines as well as following health and safety procedures, working flexible hours in order to complete all work in busy periods even recovering and delivering vehicles to customers 24 hour on call.
