I have worked with HCA for the last 20 years and am ready to start a new challenge. Looking to further develop my career and learn new skills. I am hard working, super friendly, am able to work well within a team setting, but can also use my initiative to work independently.
Due to my extensive experience of the Pharmacy processes, I became the key lead in the opening of a new Outpatient Pharmacy which is part of the Harley Street Clinic. This included preparation of stock lists, folders, policy updates, implementation of all Pharmacy processes to ensure a smooth running of the new department. Daily registering of new patients, organising repeat prescriptions and processing invoices.
Created a new charging process which helped to increase revenue by capturing more charges. This also helped to make Patient Medical Records more accurate. Eventually a team was created across all HCA Hospitals where the charging process was standardised to make sure that all sites were following the same process. A charging document was created by myself which was shared across all sites.
I was involved in the implementation of Omnicell cabinets across all of our wards after which I became the Lead Omnicell Technician. I am part of the Omnicell Committee and attend regular meetings where we discuss ways in which to reduce medication errors, therefore improving patient safety. Have become accustomed to implementing new processes that improve overall productivity.
Regularly coach and lead members of the team on how to effectively use and manage the Omnicell Cabinets. Created an Omnicell Guide which is used across all of our HCA sites.
I have worked across various other HCA sites over periods of time, therefore can easily adjust to working in different environments.
