Current student at Cardiff University studying an MSc in Cancer Biology and Therapeutics. With a First-Class BSc (Hons) in biology at Ulster University. I have a strong academic background and research experience in cancer biology, molecular techniques, and tumour microenvironment research.
My undergraduate project explored the TMPRSS2:ERG gene fusion and the tumour microenvironment in prostate cancer. where the Royal Society of Biology recognised me for my work. I am currently completing my MSC project on PI3K targeted therapies and the impact on the tumour microenvironment in prostate cancer. Highly motivated to pursue a career in cancer research with long-term aspirations toward PhD study and translational oncology research.
