My goal in life is to create a better, brighter, cleaner & more hopeful future for all of us. I aim to do this through tackling complex problems and challenges that inspire change. Using education as a tool to expand my knowledge in science is my recipe for success, and hence i have injected myself with high levels of academia within the field of Chemical Engineering from widely respected British institutions.
The Young Engineers summer internship by the Kuwait Oil Company ‘KOC’ was a programme that focused on introducing primary research skills to students pursuing Chemical and Petroleum engineering pathways. The main aim of the programme was to present a detailed research on optimising drilling locations for crude oil recovery. Engaging with candidates that share the same interests and conducting high-grade research granted me with confidence to start my first year of undergraduate studies.
My first year as a chemical engineering student has taught me that being able to work as a team is a main characteristic of a successful engineer. This thus drove me to enroll in a summer field training internship offered through the Kuwait National Petroleum Company ‘KNPC’. The programme did not only introduce new concepts like novel reactors and biodiesel production, but it also evolved project management abilities to fit an industrial scale.
The field training by KNPC permitted me to excel academically in my second year of my undergraduate studies.
