I am a senior agribusiness finance and market systems specialist with over 20 years of experience across Africa, combining commercial banking, impact investing, and large-scale development programme leadership. My work focuses on building sustainable agricultural markets, strengthening entrepreneurship ecosystems, mobilising finance, and supporting SMEs and agribusiness enterprises to scale.
I have led and supported programmes funded by USAID, USDA, the European Union, and the Dutch Government, working across agriculture, financial inclusion, climate-smart systems, and private sector development. I bring strong experience in strategic programme leadership, business development, value chain development, stakeholder engagement, and ecosystem building.
My expertise spans agricultural finance, market systems development, entrepreneurship and incubator support, SME coaching, blended finance, and last-mile delivery models including VSLAs. I am passionate about building practical, scalable solutions that improve livelihoods, strengthen resilience, and drive inclusive economic growth.
I have over 20 years of professional experience spanning commercial banking, agribusiness finance, impact investing, and international development across Africa. My experience combines strategic leadership with hands-on programme execution in agriculture, financial inclusion, entrepreneurship development, and market systems strengthening.
I have held senior leadership and technical roles on programmes funded by USAID, USDA, the European Union, and the Dutch Government, leading initiatives focused on sustainable agriculture, SME development, access to finance, climate-smart systems, and private sector engagement. My work has involved mobilising capital, managing multi-stakeholder partnerships, supporting agribusiness value chains, and designing inclusive business models that improve market access and enterprise growth.
I have extensive experience working with financial institutions, agribusiness companies, SMEs, cooperatives, and farmer organisations to develop investment-ready businesses and scalable market solutions. My background also includes entrepreneurship ecosystem development, incubator and accelerator support, founder mentorship, and programme operations management.
In addition, I bring strong expertise in agricultural finance, blended finance structures, VSLA-linked financial inclusion models, value chain development, stakeholder coordination, and data-driven programme management with clear KPIs and performance systems.
