I am a 19-year-old student currently in my final year at York College studying Graphic Design, and am a keen writer and designer. I am interested in all aspects and processes of digital design, and am always striving to learn new methods, alongside develop and master older skills. I would like to explore the opportunity of a career in graphic design, including pathways to careers in CAD, advertising or packaging.

I am currently in my final year of studying for a Level 3 Diploma in Graphic Design at York College, which I will be finishing in June this year. Therefore, I am now looking for employment in the form of further advancing my skillset and was very excited to see your position advertised online.

From my time studying over the past 2 years for my Graphic Design course, I have become accustomed to using a range of Adobe Programmes (specifically

• Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign &

• AfterEffects), partnered with CAD software (such as

• SolidWorks &

• SketchUp) which I have learnt separately in my own time. This has been driven both by my passion and interest in the wide scope achievable in Graphic Design, and I have often partnered the two digital formats in designs for my college project proposals, while also being proficient in all forms of MS Office used for evaluations and presentations.

In addition to this, I am eager to learn and develop new skills, often pursuing my interests while being comfortable to adapt to new software as and when required. I work well individually, specifically in producing project plans with a suitable timescale in mind, alongside setting achievable goals and problem solving both in design and logistical areas. Furthermore, I have acquired and built upon flexible teamwork skills through my previous jobs.

I work well monitoring time management, alongside being adaptable to changes in working environments and having had experience in training colleagues in a stress-free, effective manner for positive long-term results.
