Rebecca Evans

For the past two years, I have been actively freelancing in television. Gaining skills on shows such as Strictly Come Dancing, Made in Chelsea, The Only Way Is Essex and The One Show. Throughout my time on these shows, I have honed my abilities in teamwork, negotiating, coordinating shoots, and effective communication.

I am now looking to transition from my role in TV to a position as a sales advisor, driven by the idea of a more secure career but still doing something I enjoy.

I have previous experience in television, marketing and retail. Throughout this time working in these industries has shown I can communicate effectively with clients, build strong relationships, and thrive in demanding and non-traditional work schedules. I possess an extremely sociable demeanour, and from my experience prior to working in TV, especially in retail, I discovered that I thrive in social interactions.

I completed a 3 year bachelor's degree at Sheffield Hallam University, studying Public Relations and Media as a joint course. My degree was predominantly focused on coursework and a final dissertation, throughout the course it taught me skills such as time management, organisation, and having to work with others on my course to achieve the grades I desired leading to a 2:1 graduation achievement. I pursued Public Relations and Media due to having an interest in working in a fast-paced environment and continual challenges.
