I have now worked within the Transport, shipping and warehousing industry for almost 30 years. I was recently a Transport coordinator, working to a professional standard to maintain a excellent level of compliance with the company fleet and equipment, keeping records accurately maintained.
I've worked as a transport manager to plan and optimise the running of the vehicles in the most cost effective and efficient manor to meet client and supplier needs.
Having held my HGV class 1 licence for over 18 years with a full valid DCPC, I have extensive first hand experience of tachograph laws and legislation, equipment, geographical knowledge and time management.
I have previously held my forklift licence within a shipping environment which has given me a excellent understanding of warehouse procedures along with vehicle loading and the handling of various cargo, as well as providing a pick and pack service.
I have extensive experience in various roles within the haulage industry including (but not limited to) planning, admin, warehouse, forklift and HGV driving.
I have recently obtained my Level 3 Emergency at work first aid qualification.
