I am an articulate, self-motivated and engaging professional currently working towards a career change having completed training in counselling and drug & alcohol dependency. During my training I completed 90 hours of work placement so I have already gained some experience of working in real life settings. A naturally empathic person I am able to build strong rapport with those I interact with including those going through extensive personal challenges.

Having worked in customer facing roles my entire career, I have gained excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to communicate effectively to people of different ages, ability, backgrounds, and cultures. I have the confidence to take responsibility for the welfare of others and the ability to follow instructions and adapt quickly to different routines and methods. I feel I am able to work effectively as part of a team and on my own using my initiative at all times.

I can keep a calm and rational viewpoint in all situations and I have the maturity and experience to respond to a scenario correctly ensuring the correct protocols are followed.
