Remi Verinder

I am an enthusiastic and driven 23 year old. I have a degree in zoology and have 6 months experience in a veterinary practice. I began working as a nursery nurse in Southport as the job allowed me to travel over the past 2 years. Now my travels have come to an end and I am looking to get back into the field of science.

After graduating in the summer of 2021 I began working for a veterinary practice in Crosby from November 2021 to April 2022. As a patient care assistant I gained the following experience:

• Answering phone calls and working the front desk
• IT skills
• handing sensitive situations and client care
• Hosting consultations with clients
• Caring for animals
• Assisting in operations
• Equipment maintenance (cleaning surgical equipment)
• Carrying out tests (e.g blood samples, urine samples, faecal samples) 
• Sending tests off to external labs
• Daily work station maintenance
• Worked in a team of nurses
• Fast paced high pressure work environment
