I am currently on my third year at college I am now doing my second year of Childcare level 3 at Croydon college. I really enjoy learning about children's development and how this affects them at an early age. Over the past few years, I have been studying to gain my Level 3 in Childcare and although I do not have a vast amount of experience in an early years settings I am keen to learn and widen my skills set.
I have experience with working alongside children who have complex health needs because I am my sister's carer, who has complex health needs and I have been supporting her since the day she was born. I come across as shy but after time I become confident and be a very bubbly character. I am a great team player and enjoy collaborating with other colleagues.
I am eager to get into work and develop my skills even further and get more hands-on experience.
Work Experience Volunteer - Blossom day nursery - Croydon

I am currently doing work experience for my level 3 course at Blossom day nursery. I volunteer there once a week, but this has been paused due to COVID-19. This opportunity allowed me to get more practice before I start working full-time in a nursery setting.
