Renzo Misari (BSc (Mining), MProf Candidate, MAusIMM) is a Senior Consultant Mining Engineer with more than 12 years of experience in mine planning, mine scheduling and design for open pit and underground mines. He has made significant contributions to the development of technical mining studies across diverse commodities and project stages, including Conceptual, Pre-feasibility, and Feasibility studies.
Renzo's skills include estimating project capital and operating costs, conducting financial modeling, and ensuring precise Mineral Reserve estimations aligned with industry standards. He excels in preparing detailed technical reports and delivering impactful presentations that effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders. Renzo also conducts thorough assessments and technical audits to maintain operational integrity and contributes strategically to feasibility assessments.
In addition to his technical background, Renzo actively supports business development initiatives, demonstrating proficiency in proposal writing, bid coordination, and international travel to meet project needs and stay informed about industry advancements. His extensive site experience includes working with major mining companies such as Glencore, Barrick, Mining Plus, Deswik, and SRK, where he has gained practical knowledge across various mining methods, from large open pits to underground techniques like sublevel stoping, cut and fill methods, and caving methodologies.
