Hi! My name is Reuben and I’m a student near London, England. I have worked in the past as a Trading Assistant, a volunteer music teacher, and as a Cleaner, and I’m always looking to expand my skills in new ways. I have a passion for travel and languages, and I’m enthusiastic about music and education.
Volunteer Music Teaching Assistant - September 2021 to September 2022 Building on my passion for music, I volunteered as an assistant Music Teacher for a year. My responsibilities included organising and helping run group and individual classes for young students, assisting with repair of musical instruments, supervising students at break time, and administrative tasks. I thoroughly enjoyed this volunteering placement, which was a perfect opportunity for me to demonstrate both my punctuality and commitment.
Cleaner - March 2022 to October 2022 Working as a cleaner, I was able to build on my general workplace skills such as punctuality and teamwork, whilst also gaining practical experience.
Responsibilities included safe management of cleaning chemicals, checking and double checking cleanliness of all areas of the school in which I worked, and being attentive to workplace safety.

As part of my induction for this job, I had to undertake some training regarding food safety and dealing with customers, which has given me a thorough understanding of these fields.
I am a confident communicator, which is enhanced through my study of languages, having achieved B2 in both French and German. I am a confident leader and I am able to work effectively in a variety of settings, wether bringing new perspectives to a team or overcoming challenges by myself.
