Reuben Grivell

Hi there! My name's Reuben, I'm a passionate English Teacher from the UK and I'm looking to further my career in educating. Over the years, my journey as an educator has taken me to diverse and enriching teaching experiences, enabling me to truly understand the essence of impactful teaching. Most recently, I had the honour of teaching English as a Language Assistant at La Farga in the vibrant city of Barcelona.

Over the past year, I had the privilege of working as an English Language Teacher at La Farga in Barcelona. This invaluable experience allowed me to conduct engaging and dynamic mini-lessons for medium to large sized groups, as well as comprehensive one-hour classes for larger groups. My responsibilities extended beyond the classroom, as I took the initiative to lesson plan and continuously assess the progress of my students' English language proficiency.

In addition to my teaching experience, I also bring a diverse skill set to the table. As a Youth Worker for Unique Voice in Bristol, I worked with groups of children with Special Educational Needs, organising creative workshops and coordinating sports activities. This experience reinforced my belief in the importance of creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment for every student.

My dedication to the field of education led me to pursue a TEFL qualification, which complimented my teaching approach and allowed me to apply new methods and techniques to enhance students' learning experiences further. I also have an undergraduate degree in Social Anthropology, and hold a Masters in Human Geography.
