My name is Rhiann Ashley, I am 29 years old and currently a qualified Primary School Teacher specialising in Early Years education. I have over 10 years of experience working within the education sector and am passionate about supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Alongside my teaching career, I run my own tutoring business where I work with multiple children weekly, supporting them from early phonics development through to Year 6 SATs preparation. I am highly creative, organised and energetic. With experience incorporating outdoor and forest school learning into children’s weekly routines and activities. As well as, delivering the national curriculum in a stimulating way.
I am also very active and recently organised and accompanied a group of 15 children from my school to participate in the London Mini Marathon. This is one experience which reflects my enthusiasm for encouraging confidence, teamwork and healthy lifestyles in children.
In addition to my teaching experience, I have worked as a nanny during school holidays for the past two years with two lovely families. My experience includes caring for three-year-old twins and their five-year-old sibling, as well as a brother and sister aged 12 and 14. I am confident caring for children of various ages and supporting both their educational and emotional needs.
I hold a full enhanced DBS check, am Paediatric First Aid trained and have a full clean driving licence with extensive driving experience. I hold a British passport and have the right to work in various countries. I am also a keen traveller and enjoy experiencing different cultures and environments.
I am currently seeking a live-in nanny position with a warm and respectful family where I can provide attentive childcare, educational support and become a positive and reliable presence within the household. Ideally, I would love to continue assisting with children’s academic development alongside day-to-day care.
