I am a young professional living in Leeds, UK. I currently hold a BA (Hons) in English Literature & Film from the University of Salford and an MSc in Media, Communications & International Journalism from the University of Glasgow. I have also worked extensively in hospitality and as a freelance journalist focussing on culture and lifestyle.
I have worked in many levels of hospitality and currently work as a Shift Leader at Caffe Nero. I have worked in bars, restaurants, and cafes for around 7 years. I worked these jobs around my university timetables to ensure I could always cover rent, bills, and maintain a social life.
I achieved upper second class honors (2:1) from the University of Salford in English & Film, which is where I discovered my talent for journalism, creative writing and communication.
Taking this further, I have recently achieved a Merit on a master's programme at the University of Glasgow in Media, Communications and International Journalism.
