Ria Gordon

I am a hardworking and dependable individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. I work well both independently and as part of a team and am able to manage my time effectively when balancing multiple commitments. I have a particular interest in architecture and design, which has helped me develop creativity, attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills through both my studies and independent projects.

I am keen to gain valuable work experience, develop new skills and contribute positively to any role I undertake.

Work Experience Placement - STONEBOND

Worked within the technical department during two separate 2-week placements, gaining insight into the design and construction process.

• Reviewed technical drawings and project documentation to develop an understanding of industry standards and requirements.
• Visited construction sites to observe project progress and learn how design solutions are implemented in practice.
• Returned for a second work experience placement, building on knowledge gained during the previous year.
• Liaised with architects, designers and construction teams, developing professional communication and teamwork skills.
• Assisted in reviewing technical drawings and identifying solutions to design-related challenges.
• Undertook site visits to support construction teams and gain further insight into project delivery.
• Demonstrated initiative, professionalism and a strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced working environment.
