Hello, I’m Richard and I am a skilled, capable graphic designer. I take pride in my multidisciplinary skillset which keeps me open to work, across a broad range of design disciplines. I have experience ranging from UX methodologies, illustration, print and motion graphics.

Having graduated from the University of Reading, I also posess a detailed knowledge of typographic principles and design theory.

I have been working as a freelancer for some time now, and I am eager to learn and develop in a new position. I take pride in my multidisciplinary skillset, ranging from UX methodology to motion graphics and from illustration to editorial design. Currently, I am working freelance, alongside part-time work in retail. I am early in my graphic design career, and I am looking for more freelance work, or a permanent design position. I am looking for opportunities to learn and develop new skills, as well as practice what I have learned so far.

I graduated from the University of Reading in 2023 where I was honoured with a Chancellor’s Award, and where I developed a strong proficiency of all Adobe suite programs. As part of the BA Graphic Communication course, I took part in the Real Jobs scheme, where we were paired with real design briefs and clients.

Prior to my academic achievements, I undertook a year’s work experience at a Marlborough-based studio called Silverless. There I worked as part of their team to produce designs for a wide range of formats, including social media posts.

Now that I’m considering the next step in my career, I would be honoured to contribute my skills to your company’s success.
