Richard Fairclough is a London based freelance photographer specialising in food and lifestyle photography.
With over 14 years of experience as a photographer, Richard started shooting fashion and product photography for clients such as Decleor and Cowshed.
He grew up in a very foodie family and was constantly surrounded by cooking and a huge variety of cuisine, he wanted to combine his love of food with his passion for photography, so 8 years ago he took the leap into food photography, bringing a lot of the lighting skills he learnt with him.
Richard loves creating strong, bold and rich food photography.
He is easy to work with and enjoys the teamwork in getting together great food imagery.
He lives with his girlfriend Jalila and daughter Leïla in South London.
He has a passion for American Roots music and plays a lot of guitar.
He is a coffee and beer lover and also loves the endless layers of history that can be found in London.
