UK – Home Claims Operations Director • Budgetary accountability and full responsibility for the operational management and indemnity performance of the UK Home Claims teams including the Loss Adjusting Function. • The function itself consists of circa 400 people across 2 locations including a number of homeworking desk and field based loss adjustors (as at Q4 2024).
UK – Head of Commercial Claims Operations • Responsibility for the management of the UK Commercial Claims teams across both first and third party handling with focus upon Property, CE&RE, Employers Liability, Public Liability and Product Liability including Fraud.
• The function consisted of circa 150 people across 2 locations including a number of homeworking loss adjustors specialising in First Party Property Claims.
• Responsibility for the delivery of customer service, indemnity control, operational performance targets and to ensure the necessary claims capacity and capability exists.
UK – Head of Motor Injury Claims (including Operations) • Overall accountability for Motor Injury claims up to the value of £100k. This included responsibility for internal claims control, audit performance and training and upskilling of the overall function which consisted of circa 200 people across 4 locations.
• As well as operational responsibility I developed the injury strategy to proposed regulatory changes following implementation of LASPO and Jackson Reforms.
• Responsibility for the delivery of performance targets together with focus on the technical and leadership development of all people across the function.
