Richard Reckless

I am a compassionate and highly experienced professional with over 35 years of experience across healthcare, management, retail, property and customer-facing environments. I bring more than six years of NHS experience, including specialist experience supporting patients receiving palliative and end-of-life care, alongside extensive experience leading teams and managing busy operational environments.

I am confident working in sensitive and challenging situations, providing high-quality, person-centred support while maintaining dignity, safety and professionalism. My healthcare experience has developed strong skills in patient care, observation, communication, infection prevention and control, accurate record keeping and working effectively as part of multidisciplinary teams.

Alongside my clinical background, my previous management and senior customer-service roles have given me strong leadership, organisational, commercial and problem-solving abilities. I have successfully recruited and developed teams, improved processes, managed performance, driven sales and maintained high standards of customer service and operational delivery.

I am a calm, approachable and dependable individual who builds positive relationships with patients, colleagues, customers and teams. I particularly enjoy coaching, motivating and supporting others to reach their individual potential, while creating an environment where people feel valued and able to perform at their best.
