Richard Riverson

Over the course of over 20 years teaching career in three institutions, I have developed a skill set directly relevant to teaching English and Mathematics in the classroom including adaptive teaching methods, lesson planning and lectures.

Overall, I have consistently demonstrated language, writing, numeracy, and multitasking abilities in every aspect of my teaching career.

• From 1996 to 2003, I was a Subject Teacher who taught English Language and Mathematics in a Junior High School in Ghana.
• In 2003, I won the Best Teacher Award in Junior High School English Language at the District Level
• In 2007, after graduating from the University of Cape Coast, I taught English in Notre Dame Secondary for two years.
• Then from 2009 to 2023, I was a Subject Teacher for Grades 4, 5 and 6 and a Class Teacher assigned to Grade 6 in Faith Montessori School, Cambridge affiliated IGSCE and A Level institution, in Ghana

I earned my bachelor's degree in Education with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in Primary Education at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
