With an inquisitive and analytical mind, I have retrained to start a career in software development. Coding has been a hobby of mine through the years and after recently investing into myself, I have finished an intensive 13 week course to learn the skills I will need to succeed. This course has lead to my first year in the development world and I’m keen to move onto the next challenge.

A natural problem solver I have always tried to automate any repeatable job tasks I’ve had throughout my work life. I enjoy streamlining processes and working with others to improve not only my efficiency but also any team I am working on.

Wren Kitchens March 2022 to June 2023

Working in the planner team to bring a CAD software to the designers, working in a team to launch into the bedroom market.

Working in a scrum team to agile methodologies including leading stand up’s and tech sessions

React - development of the bedroom planner, an online web portal that allows designers to build a room plan to wrens standards and using wrens products.

An award-winning social enterprise that brings business into schools to help provide economic change.

• Javascript basics
• Back-end Development - using tools such as SQL to query API’s as well as constructing our own API’s in a solo project phase. 
• Front-end Development where we learnt React and MVC framework, ending with a project phase where we created a front end 
• Full stack Agile Working – working in a team of 5 worked on a mobile app that runs on iOS and android using spiking and RATS to find new technology and compliment them over a 2 week timescale, working to tight deadlines with aid of stand-up meetings and Kanban boards.
