Regional Operational Manager - Social Care
Send a job offer directly to this candidate
I have been in a management position within Social Care since October 2015 when I first took on the responsibility of managing a service. I took on an additional service and a second team in 2016 with additional teams and management duties increasing each year until I became an Area Manager with the company in 2020. As a registered manager I oversaw 7 services.
This included residential, supported living and outreach/domiciliary services with a total of approximately 160 service users (80 from outreach alone). During my tenure at New Directions I was part of the core SMT of 5 managers who took the company from 1 service to 14 services across 7 years, opening 11 services between 2015 and 2020. I led on 5 of the service openings.
I believe I have demonstrated the resilience, organisation and inter-personal skills that are requisite to this sector. I have always worked with the ethos of continued improvement through reflective practice.
Regional Operational Manager - London Paramount Care
(2023-02 - 2026-06)
At LPC I was the first Regional Operational Manager in the company when we had 8 services. I have personally been involved in the opening of 6 services since 2023. I have led on the registration of 2 of these services. When I started I turned around 2 services that were placed on a non-default critical notice with a risk of closure by PAMMS (Herts.) and I have since secured a 'good' PAMMS rating on all services I oversee across different local authorities I am the only Regional Manager to have all services rated as 'good'. I have also supported the turn around of a service that had to close during a safeguarding investigation and reopened in a new location.
Manager I am attached to 12 locations across 4 location authorities. The company has since expanded and grown and I line managed the 2 Registered Managers who were then promoted to Regional Managers and the next Regional Manager is an agreement in principle with a Registered Manager who was facing a Performance Manager endorsed by the SMT until I took on line management duties in September 2025.
