I graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in Preston in August 2024 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Adult Nursing and am a Registered Adult Nurse. Prior to this, I completed a one-year Foundation Degree in Health & Social Care, providing me with a strong foundation for my nursing career. Throughout my studies and professional experience, I have developed a broad range of clinical skills across a variety of healthcare settings.
I previously worked in a Dementia and Alzheimer's care home, gaining valuable experience in delivering compassionate, person-centred care to individuals with complex needs. I have worked across East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, including Blackburn Royal Hospital, Burnley General Hospital, Pendle Community Hospital and Pendle District Nursing, allowing me to gain experience in a wide range of clinical environments. These experiences have equipped me to work confidently under pressure, prioritise patient safety, communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team and provide high-quality, evidence-based, person-centred care.
I am a caring, reliable and hardworking individual who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients. My nursing journey has enabled me to develop resilience, professionalism and strong clinical judgement. In addition, my previous role as an Immunisation School Administrator strengthened my organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
