Deployed within 6 council libraries, I undertook a front of house customer service position offering a front-line enquiry service to both residents and members of the local community.
Duties include:
- Aiding & informing customers of council services and local information.
- Ability to proficiently learn and use library classification systems to shelve and check for books in real life with the help of apps and online databases.
- Using internal software and systems to modify book records, process interlibrary loans and track analytics.
- Assist customers with self service checkouts and technological aids.
- Efficiently cooperating to come to solutions with customers of all ages, with some not having english as their first language.
- Ensuring a high standard of timekeeping, initiative & self motivation within daily tasks.
- Pushing and lifting heavy trolleys & packing material into crates.
- Creating and managing campaigns for the organization's social media page.
- Up-selling and showcasing courses, classes and online offerings.
- Coordinating team duties & offering insight within meetings.
- Issuing fines for lost and damaged stock, cash handling, finance monitoring and logging via cloud-based software.

Operating a weekday start up company, acting as project manager & creative director for community art projects that positively impact local communities and young people.
Duties include:
- Project management utilizing CRM software, cloud-based services and methods of traditional communication.
- Proposal writing, pitching ideas to new clients, sourcing, screening & briefing creative teams.
- Creating strategies that work with internal research, local communities and important stakeholders.
- Showcasing and maintaining both the agency and client’s brand voice and guidelines across both physical and digital platforms- including social media.
