My laboratory skills encompass the proficient use of various types of microtomes to produce high-quality sections. I have additional expertise in embedding and can efficiently cut 45 blocks in an hour.
As a dedicated and passionate histology practitioner, I have demonstrated competencies in histological techniques. I can process 30 blocks in just 35 minutes and excel in embedding, specimen reception, staining, tissue processing, troubleshooting, and quality control for both blocks and slides. I pride myself on being an excellent team player with a goal-oriented approach, and I have gained valuable experience in this field.
In addition to histology, I am well-versed in various molecular techniques such as RNA/DNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, ePCR, VOC, NGS for ctDNA detection, as well as IHC and FISH for identifying genomic alterations in solid tumors and prenatal disorders.
My capabilities extend to processing patient specimens for testing and maintaining comprehensive records throughout the diagnostic process.
