• I inputted jobs into RoadRunner and allocated to drivers whilst tracking vehicles using Microlise and Isotrak and reported driver behaviours such as excessive breaks, driving styles, etc.
• I liaised with the warehouse to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods, briefed and debriefed drivers and managed vehicle breakdowns/accidents and defects through the shift and made changes to the night and following days plan as required.
• I directly managed the night drivers along with port bookings through the shift and driver training where required.

I was responsible for the cost-effective planning of inbound and outbound loads, efficiently utilising drivers, vehicles, trailers and sub-contractors to collect and deliver loads against specified collection and booking times. I also tracked vehicles on Isotrak, sent ASN numbers to Tesco distribution centres, notifying them of any late deliveries and kept customers and drivers informed of progress to ensure good customer service along with driver brief and de-brief. I coordinated vehicle breakdowns from taking calls from drivers gaining as much detail as possible regarding the problem before passing the call through to either workshop or the relevant recovery party.
