Robbie Watson

I am a 24 year old from Glasgow who has a passion for music production and audio. I am a free lance promoter for various club nights in and around glasgow in which I dj at with a variety of different people, I have been promoting nights since 2018 and been DJing/producing for 7 years. I am also an electrician to trade which is my main line of work but would love to have a career in the music industry whether it be a radio producer or live music co ordinator.

My goal is to become a house music producer but any job within the industry is my short term goal.

My professional experience within the music industry is the many nights I have promoted in clubs and the many club nights I have Dj'd at as well as working at Groove city radio for around 8 months doing a show fortnightly on a Saturday evening at 6-8. I have also Dj'd at one of glasgows biggest festivals Platform 18 and been involved with the organisation of other big events in the west of scotland.

I have completed courses with subsine academy (formally known as Soma Skool) for music production which enhanced my music production skills. The rest of my skills have been self taught whether it be marketing and social media skills for promoting different club nights or radio skills from my period on groove city radio.
