I have been employed within the construction industry for twenty years and during this time I have gained a wealth of experience working on various projects, manual working, plant operator and supervisor. I have a clear understanding of working to programme dates, calm under pressure and completing tasks ready for client handover. I am adaptable and flexible in my approach to work, If requested to change my priorities at short notice I replan before acting.

I have the capability to work under pressure and remain controlled in a professional manner.

Groundworker/Supervisor - Statom Group - 795 London Road, West Thurrock

My role as a groundworker/Supervisor has been starting the front-end work as well as completing finishes ready for handover. On occasion I have been asked to step up when needed to support site managers to complete targets. I have a wide range of skills which include placing deep drainage, internal drainage, foundation excavations, RC concrete works foundations, concrete slabs and road constructions.

• A team meeting to discuss the plan for the day.
• Ensuring health and safety is being met by all workers.
• Ensuring method statements & risk assessments are in place and understood.
• Assisting operators by being a banksman.
• Working proactively and liaising with site managers and project managers.
• Communicating regularly with site mangers to order materials.
• Logging all quality control checks at the end of every day.
