(Jan 2018 – Sep 2023) Warehouse Operations Controller – Great Bear Markham Vale 2

In this challenging role, I handled the overall running of the warehouse operation serving multiple high-profile clients.

Whilst in this role I was also the shifts cover supervisor during absence/holidays as well as my shifts continuous improvements champion.

My daily life in this role consisted of.

• Co-ordinating the running, picking, and loading all outbound loads on time ready for collection. In peak times up to 50 loads per 12hr shift
• Ensuring inbound loads are tipped and put away promptly to keep up with workload and chase up late deliveries.
• Management of MHE drivers work zones on site. VNA, reach trucks and bay loading/unloading operatives.
• Maintain communication with a range of hauliers to ensure loads collected on time and delivered in full.
•  Communicate with clients to advise on potential issues going forward, issues in real time and work on resolutions. 
• Working with data to send reports to upper management on shift progress adding information on any hurdles seen in the forceable future.
• Keeping in constant communication with Team Leaders to ensure we are all prioritising workload effectively.
