My name is Robert Kendall I am 38 years of age. After leaving school, where I gained good GCSE results, I gained an OCN basic plumbing and 6129 city and guilds qualification in plumbing. I am currently a maintenance engineer on static caravans and a retained fire-fighter (although currently on a sabbatical leave due to personal reasons).
I have always been hands on, but I am looking for a career with future exciting prospects. When I left school I started to work on a sheep and beef farm in Whitland. I am honest, reliable and polite. I have the can do attitude where I am flexible when and where I work.
I always give 100% in everything I do.

I have recently started a new job as an standard operator at princes gate waters. The job is mostly OK I enjoy the production side of the job I am just finding the inside life hard to comprehend. Life inside a factory environment is not for me I am used to working outside and having a job where no two days are the same. Factory work is quite repetitive and I find this hard.
Maintenance Engineer - Parkwall caravans Ltd

I have worked for Parkwall caravans for a number of years now as a maintenance engineer my work consists of siting and connecting caravans to full rebuilds and repairs for insurance this includes changing floors, windows, doors, ceilings, roofs, fitting kitchens and bathrooms. Laying lino and carpet, wall boards etc. No two days are the same. I have gained experience with electrics carpentry and used my all ready knowledge of plumbing.

I have currently held this position for 15 years. It has been a life changing experience. Safety is paramount in this job. I have to deal with members of the public at their most desperate and distressing times. I am currently on sabbatical leave due to the loss of my father but I am wanting to return.

Here I work on a self employed basis. My job involves all aspects of working on a dairy farm. I am responsible for milking cows, caring for the cows and calves on the farm, maintaining machinery and operating tractors/implements.

Farm Worker - Gwarmacwydd

Upon leaving school I started working on a farm known as 'gwarmacwydd' here I was responsible for lambing / calving and general farm work. There were holiday cottages on the farm, which was good for me to meet new people. Whilst on the farm I took part in a welcome host course at Pembrokeshire college and a first aid course with PRP training this was vital to the holiday side of the business all staff had to be first aid trained and welcome host trained to achieve gold star rating from the welsh tourism board.
