About

I am a reliable and hardworking student with a strong interest in cooking and working in a kitchen. I enjoy being part of a fast paced environment and take pride in preparing food to a good standard. Through my current role as a chef, I have built confidence working under pressure, as well as improving my teamwork and time management.

I have also helped train new staff which has developed my communication skills. Alongside this, I am studying Mechanical Engineering Operations and A Level Maths, which has helped me improve my problem solving and practical thinking.

I work in a busy kitchen preparing and cooking food during service. I make sure all food is prepared properly and meets standards. I follow hygiene and safety rules at all times. I work closely with the team to keep things running smoothly, especially during busy periods. I have also helped train new team members and show them how things work in the kitchen. This job has helped me become more confident and organised.
