Rohit Pathak

I am a Lighting Designer with hands-on experience in live events, installations, and productions, backed by a strong technical foundation developed during my early internship at Jyotirgamaya. Driven by a passion for shaping atmosphere and storytelling through light, I have worked across fashion shows, classical dance concerts, weddings, and diverse live productions. I craft lighting concepts, plots, and cue structures that translate creative vision into immersive, seamless experiences.

My work has taken me across the globe from the USA and UK to the UAE, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Phuket, and beyond adapting to varied stages, cultures, and creative demands. Beyond the console, I am a volunteer camping instructor, a guitar player, and a lifelong lover of arts and entertainment, constantly inspired by the world around me.

• Supporting end-to-end execution of lighting concepts for live events, installations, and productions.
• Designing lighting plots and layouts while translating creative visions into practical setups.
• Programming cues and managing timecode integration on lighting consoles for live shows.
• Operating consoles including grandMA3, grandMA2, Avolites (Arena/Tiger Touch), ChamSys, and Hog Lighting Control.

• Beginning my journey in lighting design as an intern at Jyotirgamaya while building a strong technical foundation.
• Gaining hands-on experience by assisting in setup, basic rigging, cabling, and focusing of lighting fixtures.
