Business / Project Analyst - Contract - Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety - Consumer Protection Division - Western Australia
(2025-06 - 2026-03)
- Completed an end-to-end implementation of a Regulatory Priorities and Complaint Assessment Process Project.
- Created new process maps from scratch for the Conciliation, Assessments and Investigation teams.
- Developed an Enforcement Response Assessment Matrix to enable the division to make consistent, risk-informed decisions.
- Drafted a full suite of SOPs and governance documentation that were signed off by the PM and Commissioner.
- Set up and tracked the project using Jira and Excel and worked within sprints utilising agile methodologies.
- Led multiple stakeholder consultations with the division's teams to determine the current state of processes and produced a gap analysis report for the Commissioner.
- The outcome of the project was a reduction in the number of complaints left in queue and a reduction in the time taken for complaints to be allocated to an investigating officer. This has resulted in a wider range of the enforcement toolbox being utilised by the division in Western Australia.
- Had multiple contract extensions and was promoted from a L3 to a L5 within the first few months.
