I am a student with a positive attitude, interested in gaining work experience in retail and improving skills like customer service and strong communication. I am a quick learner, friendly and motivated, and seeking a part-time position alongside sixth form which I am starting in September 2026

Work Experience at Birmingham Assay Office (2025-07 – 2025-07)

I participated in work experience organized by my school. Throughout the week I spent time in different parts of the company, like customer service, finance, social media, and HR. I observed specialists take precautions to maintain a safe environment and treat customers with patience and respect at all times. This opportunity massively developed my listening and communication skills as well as my independence, responsibility, and time management.

Dogsitting/House Sitting at Self-employed (2026-02 – Present)

I have occasionally taken part in pet-sitting over a weekend or for a couple of days. I am able to feed them on time, provide companionship, and take them on walks. During this experience I am required to be responsible, safe, and cook and clean for myself, all of which I am trusted to do.

Expedition Participant at Duke of Edinburgh (2025-07 – 2025-07)

DOFE was a huge accomplishment for me and the group of people I took part with, I dedicated my time to volunteering to walk dogs, weekly gym classes and learning to cross stitch as a part of the journey. The expeditions themselves, despite some parts being laughable, were mentally and physically tough. On the practice expedition we got lost multiple times and we struggled with morale and using the equipment provided.

However, on the actual expedition our group made a huge comeback; we all persevered and helped each other to raise spirits and keep moving, and we were one of the first back to the camp.
