My name is Ryan Choong. I finished my degree in architecture course in the year 2021 at Taylor’s University School of Architecture, Building & Design. I have always had a strong interest in art, graphic design & architecture.
My approach to design is that all great buildings start from a strong design. I believe that good design & functional design are not mutually exclusive. Starting with a strong narrative & concept is the most important baseline for any architectural composition, as without it, the architectural process would become formulaic and thus lack personality & soul.
It is my opinion that the job of the architect is to turn an artistic expression & design narrative into a fully realised, functional building through critical design decision-making, without abandoning their visions.
