My role as contracts manager is a busy, fast paced role, so keeping organised and having excellent time management is essential. This role is extremely client facing whilst at the same time managing a number of internal staff such as supervisors, engineers and a team of administrators.

• Managing client expectations to a high standard through regular meetings and contract progress updates

During my time as an electrical engineer, I continued to carry out a vairiety of electrical works and built up a high level of experience within the social housing industry as listed below. I was then promoted to the position of electrical supervisor / manager.

Starting off as an electrical apprentice, I spent 4 years learning the trade and a variety of aspects of electrical work, from domestic Maintenence to full rewries and then onto domestic and commercial fixed wire testing. Once I had passed out and obtained my full NVQ level 3 with AM2 I then went out on my own and had my own apprentices to teach the electrical trade to.
