Teaching Assistant - Coombe Boys Secondary School
(2023-01 - 2024-12)
I worked with small groups to perform interventions, such as social skills and comprehension, allowing students to develop essential skills. Mentoring students who faced challenges like anxiety, ADHD, and autism significantly improved their overall well-being and academic success. Creating a Zones of Regulation corner is a fantastic strategy I developed in the whole school to help students manage their emotions.
By using various techniques to regulate emotions, they found tools to navigate their feelings more effectively. This holistic approach not only fosters a positive learning environment but also empowers students to become more self-aware and resilient.
