I am currently working partime in a care home as a care assistant looking after people with dementia. I have been in this post over two years now. I enjoy every day at work and bringing positive difference in life on my clients.
I must say this job is rewarding and it has trained me in essential but important people's skills. It has given me insight to treat each individual with respect and dignity making sure that their needs and requirements are met appropriately. I am caring, I take responsibility in what I do, I treat people with respect and provide compassionate care because this is basic need of an individual who is relying on me to meet their needs.
I am passionate about the positive changes I bring in people's life, l like working in an environment where each individual has sense of a team player. I can adapt my self quiet comfortably in situations where the task may become very demanding. I am always looking to develop my skills and as a person in general whenever I get opportunity.
