I am currently in a live in nanny role. I have gained a tremendous amount of experience during my time here. I have had the privilege to cook, clean, arrange play dates, pick up from school, organise activities, set up fun activities, accompany on holiday, manage holiday bookings, manage money and accounting, shop for clothes and food, organise birthday parties, help with homework, promote and assist with hygiene where necessary, encourage healthy eating and exercise, carry out the bed time routine, supervise children when visiting their mother, manage appropriate screen time, promote good behaviour and so much more.
I have been a childcarer since my early teenage years, starting off with weekend babysitting, progressing over the years to overnight babysitting, long term childcare, morning and evening routines, leading me to my current role as a nanny.
I have experience in a variety of job roles, most notably nannying, support work, care work, the water industry, and social media marketing, from which I have gained an abundance of various skills, all whilst caring for children in one way or another.
I am energetic, bubbly, hardworking, I love spending time with children and strive to make each day fun and educational when appropriate. I can be rather theatrical when taking part in imaginative play, something in my experience children have really connected with.
In recent years I have cared for children starting from newborn to 1 year, 4 and 5 years, 10 years and 13 years old, but over the years I have had the pleasure of caring for a variety of different ages anywhere from newborn to 15 years old.
I am striving for a position where I can really be a helping hand in assisting with the growth of a child/children and help them flourish as I have a lot of experience to offer but I'm eager to gain a lot more. I'm willing to give my all to a family and have a good relationship where myself and the family understand each others wants and needs and are clear about each others expectations to ensure that our time together is as happy as possible.
