Saffa Aw-Hussein

I am a Certified Scrum Master and a HCPC registered Neuroradiographer. I have experience in creating client products, effectively managing stakeholders, and acting as a servant leader for my team. I have gained extensive experience in the field of project management, creating high-value products from initiation to completion. I am responsible for the implementation of agile principles ensuring my team are self-managing and well supported to complete their goals.

I have ample healthcare experience having 8 years within the NHS where I have implemented agile practices especially during the COVID 19 response. Within my NHS role I have worked on multiple projects to work towards digital transformations as well as improving the radiography department for our service users. I am a values-based individual within everything that I do whether that be within my healthcare positions or my project management roles.

I would describe myself as someone who is passionate about healthcare. I am specifically looking for roles that uses the software development experience that I have gained as a Scrum Master applying it to a healthcare setting.

I currently work as an Imaging Project Manager for a global Clinical Research Organisation called ICON PLC. I am responsible for maintaining and managing clinical trail projects with Sponsors and partners ensuring deliverables are met. I am responsible for every stage of the projects from initiation to completion.

I use hybrid methodology both agile and traditional to ensure that projects meet the requirements both legally and clinically. I manage a team of 5-10 people with each project and a maximum of 5 projects at any given time. I ensure that we stay within budget and manage project finances effectively.

I have completed both the PSM1 and PSM2 qualification to solidify my Scrum Master knowledge. I have also completed the Google project manger course in courseware giving me excellent knowledge on all aspects of running a project.
