As the co-founder and co-artistic director of Emanate Productions, I have overseen a wide range of responsibilities, from artistic vision to business management. We had several full scale productions at the Soho Theatre and JW3 and we currently have a Olivier Nominated writer under commission. This role has not only honed my interpersonal and organisational skills but has also given me a comprehensive understanding of the operational and creative aspects of running a company.

• Led the artistic vision and strategic direction of productions from development to delivery, managing projects across a range of budgets from low to mid-range sized productions.
• Built strong relationships with general managers, programmers, agents, and investors to secure funding and performance opportunities.
• Played a key role in business development through pitching, grant applications, and successful Arts Council funding, while overseeing budgeting, financial forecasting, and company finances. Worked closely with creative and production teams to foster a collaborative working environment, developing a strong understanding of the UK theatre landscape.

I started volunteering for the Spear Programme in Islington last year aimed at inspiring employment. Volunteering for a charity has been incredibly fulfilling and I look forward to continuing my work with them.

• Delivered sessions in presentation and public speaking, supporting young people into employment through confidence-building and communication skills.
• Developed an understanding of the barriers faced by participants from underrepresented backgrounds and the positive impact of targeted, performance-based coaching.

Hospitality & Events Staff - Last Supper

Fundraising Assistant - Acting for Others

• Supported Acting for Others with their main, annual fundraising campaign raising vital funds for vulnerable people in the theatre industry.
• Liaised with stake holders at every West End and Off West End theatres in London as well as select regional theatres, communicating with producers, front of house teams and managers.
• Organised and managed the fundraising campaigns for each theatre, handling money, sensitive material and personal date in line with GDPR.
