I am a friendly and hardworking person who enjoys helping others and learning new things. Through my volunteering experience, I have developed communication, teamwork, and time management skills. I am interested in engineering and am looking for an opportunity to gain work experience and develop my skills further.

Volunteer at British Heart Foundation

I volunteered in the British Heart Foundation for 4 months, and I learned to communicate with customers and work at the till. I helped around the shop, sorting out books, clothes, etc., and helped the staff. This experience helped me develop confidence, customer service skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Volunteer at Scotstown School and Braehead School

I volunteered in many schools to help them with their sports day and communicate with children. I helped set up the Sports day with my friends.

Islamic Arabic Calligraphy Volunteer Instructor at Mosque in Aberdeen

I also volunteered in one of the mosques in Aberdeen by giving them free Islamic Arabic calligraphy, so that younger kids can learn something, and I do in my free time. The children are learning about their culture and more about Islam. I use many skills, such as communication and following instructions. These things help me a lot, like being around people and helping them as much as possible.
