- Supported the clinical services within the Neurology Department, working alongside a multidisciplinary team supported by the Consultants
- Ran independent headache clinics, consisting of new referrals and follow-up appointments. This included diagnosis, requesting head imaging (MRI Head) and treatment recommendations
- Ran independent clinics administering Botulinim toxin injections for Chronic Migraine, Cervical Dystonia and HemiFacial/Blepharo-spasms
- Performed Nerve Blocks when clinically indicated, including the greater/lesser occipital, pre-auricular and supraorbital nerve
Physician Associate Ambassador (South Regional Lead) - Health Education England
(2019 - 2020)
- Appointed as a HEE Physician Associate Ambassador, covering Thames Valley. In addition to being the Regional Lead for the South region
- Worked with medical employers, NHS organisations, qualified Physician Associates and education providers to increase support for PA employment, supporting working PA's and putting PA's in the spotlight, highlighting their integral role in the medical workforce
- Worked closely with Training Hubs and PCNs gaining a deeper understanding of General Practice and the NHS
- Presented at a number of PCN Workforce meetings and Healthcare Conferences, allowing me to improve my presentation skills
- Organised and hosted HEE National Physician Associate Ambassador Study Days, exposing me to working with different work personalities and managing logistical challenges
- Enhanced my problem-solving and listening skills, and my ability to influence and inspire colleagues
