• Assisted the research and development team with the culture of retinal organoids using aseptic cell culture techniques.
• Shadowed the research and development scientists, learning new laboratory techniques, and gaining insight into experimental design processes.
• Gained experience in the process of drug and gene therapy development, from initial research and development to clinical trials as well as industrial production of the gene therapy product for clinical use.
