In my role, I was responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the entire restaurant and supervising operations to ensure customers have a positive experience. I also prepared food and drinks while following hygiene and safety standards and helped customers with orders and managed to resolve issues professionally. I ensured friendly and consistent customer service is delivered at all times.
This position has helped me build confidence in working efficiently and calmly in a fast paced environment whilst also strengthening my team work skills, to multitask and attention to detail.
Volunteer (work experience) - Mind Charity shop

In this role, I was responsible for sorting and displaying items in the store, greeting and assisting customers and developing the confidence to interact effectively to the public. I followed instructions closely and took on tasks such as changing mannequins, organising clothing displays and printing labels and steaming clothing items. This experience helped me build strong communication skills and attention to detail in a retail environment.
Volunteer - Blossom day Nursery In this role, I supervised children during activities ensuring they were safe, engaged and accounted for especially during outdoor play. I read them story books and kept them engaged while reading. I paid attention to what kids enjoyed what activities more to help their sensory skills.
I helped serve snacks and dinner, laid all the mats and blankets out and helped them to go sleep when it was their nap time. I maintained a clean and organised environment and supported children with play, distributing food and drinks and assisting with clean up afterwards. This role strengthened my sense of responsibility, attention to safety and ability to stay calm and organised in a busy setting.
