As a Reception Manager, I oversaw all front-of-house operations during weddings and related events. I was one of the primary points of contact for the couple, guests, vendors, and staff on the day of the event. I ensured everything ran according to schedule and met the venue's standards of excellence.

• Greet and welcome the couple, bridal party, and guests upon arrival
• Serve as the main on-the-day contact for the couple and their families
• Ensure all specific requests and agreed-upon details are executed as planned
• Liaise with vendors such as caterers, florists, DJs, photographers, and entertainers to ensure smooth delivery and setup
• Oversee room layouts, seating arrangements, and décor setup
• Supervise front-of-house staff, including waiters, bartenders, and coordinators

During my work experience at a local pharmacy, I gained valuable insight into how medicines are dispensed and how the pharmacy team supports patients' health and wellbeing. I observed the daily responsibilities of pharmacists and pharmacy assistants, including checking prescriptions, preparing medications, managing stock, and ensuring accurate record keeping. I learned about the importance of confidentiality, accuracy, and communication when dealing with customers and healthcare professionals.

I also developed my customer service skills by greeting patients, helping them find products, and understanding their needs in a professional and caring way. This experience helped me understand how pharmacies play a key role in community healthcare and gave me a greater appreciation of the pharmacist's responsibility in ensuring patient safety and promoting public health.
